Lucy and Rodrigo Menocal are the young farmers behind Blooming Hope Mushrooms. They are excited to bring locally grown mushrooms, culinary and medicinal herbs, and mushroom growing workshops to our community.

Lucy first started farming in 2022 when she attended Farm School at the Center for Arkansas Farms and Food. The following year, she and Rodrigo moved up North to learn more at about farming at the Rodale Institute’s farmer training program. Now they’re back in Arkansas searching for their perfect slice of farmland.

Lucy and Rodrigo both work full-time as farmers. Lucy now works and teaches at the CAFF program she graduated from in 2022. Rodrigo farms full-time at Cobblestone Farms in Fayetteville. You will likely never find more dedicated and friendly people than these two.

Rodrigo and Lucy grow mushrooms and herbs for local restaurants and for sale in our farm store.
