Once upon a time… there was a candlelit farm-to-table dinner in an historic barn lovingly prepared by Chef Monica Diodati.
The dinner, held on World Storytelling Day, celebrated the gift of books in our lives. Three courses and a dessert each perfectly paired with a beloved children’s story filled the wooden tables. Drinks flowed, music played, and people laughed. But the evening was more than it appeared…
Proceeds from the dinner helped Two Friends relocate their pay-what-you-can bookstore in Springdale, fulfilling their mission to bring book ownership to everyone. New friends were made, connections forged, and a sense of merriment and whimsy was shared by all.

Our Farm Share is THE way to get your hands on the harvest. Farm Shares run for 8 weeks at a time. Customers receive a weekly share with 8 to 10 fresh produce items. Our beginning farmers grow or make every item in our Farm Share. This Spring’s Farm Share is filled by Porch Life Farm and Orthodox Homesteading.
Our Farm Share acts like an investment for our local, beginning farmers. Our supporters provide early season funding needed for farmers to purchase seeds, compost, organic fertilizers, and more at the start of the year when sales are lowest and costs are high. In years past, our Farm Share members helped us purchase a riding mower for our farm, potting soil for the year, and enough compost to feed the whole farm all while enjoying the best of our harvest.
The Spring Farm Share pick-up is every Friday from the week of May 22nd to July 17th. We’ll skip the pick-up the week of July 4th.
Our Farm Share is unique, here’s how:
We offer pick-up on the farm so you can see exactly where your food comes from.
We provide flexibility by allowing customers to shop for their weekly shares. Most similar programs have predetermined produce items each week. Our customers choose from a variety of produce - similar to shopping at the farmer’s market - making it a more enjoyable experience.
We invite you to be a part of our tight-knit Farm Share community. We can’t wait to serve you!
Donate one week of fresh vegetables to a family of four. 100% of your donation goes directly to local farmers to help purchase equipment, materials, and to recover from emergencies. Produce is donated through Seeds That Feed, a local food access non-profit serving our hungry neighbors.
Thank you for taking an active role in your local food system!
