Community Workshop: Meal Plan to Crop Plan
Have you ever wanted to know how to grow your weekly groceries? Join us February 28th to learn about crop planning. We’ll cover best crops for our climate, timing, and how to build a crop plan around your likes and life. The first 45 minutes will be group discussion and lecture led by our farmer founders Riley and Dominic. Afterwards, we’ll provide open time until noon to consult with our pros on your own crop plan and garden. To get the most out of this course, bring your laptop or tablet, bring copies of any existing crop plans to workshop, bring your farm or garden’s map, and come with an idea of what produce you like to eat.
Cost to attend is $20. We want everyone to be able to attend, please email info@farmhandbentonville.com to waive the entry fee if needed.
The workshop will be help in the Red Barn at 1525 NW Shores Loop. Location may change depending on weather. Participants will be notified via email of any changes.
Pi Day Potluck
Sweet or savory, come with your favorite pie in hand to celebrate community and good food. We will provide plates, silverware, and drinks. You come with a great pie or just yourselves. This potluck will take place in the Red Barn starting at 5pm. Stop by anytime throughout the night or stay for the whole time.
Soup Swap
Join us for our first Soup Swap event where we share food, recipes, and stories. Come meet your local farmers and neighbors. Beat back the dark twisties of winter while celebrating and cobuilding our coming comunity-powered food access program. Entry to the event is FREE. Bringing your favorite soup to share is encouraged, but not required. Plates and tupperware will be provided at the event - BUT feel free to bring your own. Come and go as you please throughout out event hours.

A Hobbit Hoedown!
Join us for our first ever dine-in movie! We’re celebrating Bilbo Baggins’ birthday by enjoying a delightful farm dinner and a show. The evening starts with a festive cocktail hour, followed by a farm tour and cooking demonstration. Finally, just as sun sets, we’ll settle in to watch The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring under the stars. As the movie progresses, local chef, Micah Klasky, will treat us to small bites that reflect the most memorable moments of a favorite classic. Come join us for a night of merriment, good food, and a few (exciting) surprises!
